Startup Meetup event is one of the events which is listed as part of the events to be organized by ICODE in the year 2017. This event is aimed at creating a community startup entrepreneurs in the western region by creating a connection between them through an environment where they can come and meet each other.

The Startup Meetup will address key issues that is affecting the growth and operations of startups in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana. The event is also going to serve as an opportunity to create a startup seed funding program to support innovative startups in the Western Region thus promoting the habit of entrepreneurship by the youth.

This event is also going to create an opportunity for other people who have an idea of starting their own business to join the network and also create their own startup thus expanding the network of startup entrepreneurs in Western Region of Ghana. This event is also proudly supported by MTN Ghana as we are one of the Start-ups they are supporting in the Western Region.

TechTalk seeks to bring together students, entrepreneurs and tech inclined personnel together to talk about TECHNOLOGY AND HOW THE WORLD SEE IT.
This networking event aims at identifying some challenges that individuals face in their involvement in technology platforms and addressing misconceptions about how people see technology. It is also aimed at empowering young women to pursue information technology careers and not just studying it.

The maiden TECH TALK event is part of ICODEGH program run by ICODEGH, an NGO based in Ghana. ICODEGH has organised 3 events in Ghana in Educating, Training and building a network of changemakers,doers and entrepreneurs.
This event in collaboration with Ghana Technology University College SRC - Takoradi Campus and in partnership with BarcampTakoradi a GhanaThink Foundation Program and VMinc a Multimedia Company based in Takoradi and proudly sponsored by iSPACE.

The Twin Cities - Sekondi & Takoradi have given birth to a lot of talented individuals. The best, they say, comes from the West. A lot of Takoradi youth are interested in and flock to innovation and communtiy building. At the TECH TALK , we'll be focusing on how to be professional as changemakers, entrepreneurs, etc
